Yunnan's old,middle-aged and young musicians co-composed the new posture of Yunnan's development and opening up.

The song"Take the high speed train to see the sea"was written by famous lyricist Jiang Mingchu and young composer Yue Shaopeng in Yunnan Province,with famous composer Wan Li in Yunnan Province as music director,and sung by a combination of famous female singer Deng Guoqing,Pan Weiyu and rapper Ming Xinjie in Yunnan Province,with a live performance music video shot in the high speed train.The song is sung through Chinese-style singing and Rap duet,which is so refreshing.

Yunnan Province,located in southwest China,is the hub of China connecting the hinterland of Asia and Europe with the South Central Peninsula and the Indian Ocean.For thousands of years,the Shu Road,the Southern Silk Road and the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway have kept Yunnan connected to the outside world with a continuous flow of people, economic and trade exchanges and cultural exchanges.

The year2023marks the tenth anniversary of the"Belt and Road"initiative.As a landmark project of"Belt and Road",the China-Laos railroad has promoted the bilateral economic and social development for more than one year since its opening,witnessing the long-lasting friendship.It's not only a bridge of interconnection between both nations,but also a link of people's hearts.At this year's two sessions of the Yunnan provincial government,the governor of Yunnan Province,Wang Yubo,said in the government work report,Yunnan will continue to expand the golden effect of the Sino-Laos railroad and operate cross-border passenger trains in due course.

The70-year-old Jiang Mingchu told reporters that when he wrote the lyrics for this song,it coincided with the first anniversary of the opening of the China-Laos Railway.Therefore,he wrote in the lyrics"China-Laos Railway reaches the sea through the river and integrates the east,west,north and south",expecting that the China Railway will continue to extend forward and play a demonstration-driven effect to speed up the construction of the China-Laos-Thailand Railway and the China-Vietnam and China-Myanmar international railroads.The construction of the Grand Corridor will be promoted to help Yunnan realize its vision of opening up to the sea and the rivers.

"Rap is not a musical form unique to the West;there is also a great deal of rap in Yunnan's ethnic folk music."Yue Shaopeng,the49-year-old executive director of the Yunnan Pop Music Society,composed the song"Take the high speed train to see the sea.""The reason for choosing Chinese style music mixed with Western hip-hop rap is to express the desire of our Yunnan people for foreign cultural exchange,and also to hope that people worldwide can come to Yunnan and understand the ethnic folk rap here."

The rap part of the song is performed by hip-hop rapper Ming Xinjie,who was born in Baoshan,Yunnan Province in1999.He had previously tried performing hip-hop rap in the Baoshan dialect,which was well received by local youth."Hip-hop rap emphasizes individuality,and the younger generation of rappers in Yunnan need to fully explore the local ethnic folk rap elements,and then fuse them with different musical elements worldwide,which I believe will definitely present a different kind of excitement."

The song"Take the high speed railway to see the sea"will be launched as a major piece of the "Spring Blossoms"Chinese,Indian,Cambodian and Mongolian Spring Festival Gala in2023,sending Chinese New Year blessings to Chinese children as well as and friends from all over the world.
