The Civil Aviation Administration of China estimates that the market size of China’s low-altitude economy is expected to reach 1.5 trillion yuan by 2025 and 3.5 trillion yuan by 2035.

Ren Wenguang’s company specializes in the research, development, and manufacturing of passenger-carrying electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) aircraft. His company have partnered with Mile City in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan, ready to operate the“Mile”aircraft. This eVTOL aircraft has a maximum takeoff weight of 2.2 tons, can carry a maximum of five passengers or 500 kilograms of cargo, and has a maximum range of 240 kilometers and a top speed of 240 kilometers per hour, making it suitable for high-frequency freight transport and aerial tourism, among other purposes.

“Yunnan is adjacent to Southeast Asia and South Asia, and establishing a regional center here is a significant strategic move for us to expand into these regions.”Ren Wenguang added that China, South Asia and Southeast Asia are home to about half of the world’s population, and boast tremendous potential for cooperation and vast room for development.

At the Expo, a wide variety of low-altitude products with different functions attracted many merchants from South Asia and Southeast Asia. Ren mentioned that some merchants had exchanged contact information with his team, showing a strong interest in their products.(End)
